Join the Monday Late Doubles

We are always looking for new members so if you are interested then simply contact us using the form at the bottom of this page.

We meet every Monday Evening at 9pm with the exception of bank holidays and for a break around Christmas. Holidays and other occasions when you are not able to attend on a Monday are catered for by either pre-bowling a match or bowling upon your return.

Each League season runs roughly January to December but we can accept new members mid season

7 Excuses for not joining us

  1. I can't bowl.
    We all start that way but it's only through regular bowling that you will improve. You can be certain that no one is going to look down their nose at you just as you can be certain that you'll be offered help with you game.
  2. But It won't be fair that everyone is better than me.
    Our handicap system ensures that you are always playing on a level playing field no matter your ability. Anyhow don't be too sure that everyone will be better than you.
  3. It's too expensive.
    Social Bowling is expensive but as a league we pay significantly reduced rates. At present it works out at £10 per person, which covers 3 games plus a contribution towards trophies, prizes and social events. A tenner for a night out doesn't sound to bad.
  4. You're a doubles league and I haven't got a partner.
    Not a problem we can match you up with other people to form a team.
  5. I can't come every week.
    Not a problem teams can have up to 4 members so that you can alternate who bowls each week to cater for this.
  6. I haven't got any equipment.
    Both balls and shoes are available from the centre for free.
  7. The Wife/Husband won't let me out
    Bring the wife/husband.
